Annunciation Cathedral | San Francisco, CA

The new cathedral will be re-built on the current site. The Church decided to remain in its present location because of their commitment to the neighborhood. The project includes one level of underground parking, courtyard with water feature for events, and the main nave area, among others. To address the challenges of wide open spaces and soaring ceilings a radiant floor system and integrates CO2 controlled outside air systems were employed. Special plumbing for baptistery and other areas and low flow plumbing fixtures were included in the plumbing design. MDS provided full mechanical and plumbing engineering services.
