Rosie the Riveter Museum | Richmond, CA

The new Rosie the Riveter Museum is housed in a restored historic brick Oil House that once powered the Ford Assembly Plant in Richmond. The Center includes historical exhibits and houses a gift shop, offices, classrooms and a theater providing space for ranger talks and film showing. The mechanical systems include heating and ventilation units, VRF cooling systems for the classroom and theater and the plumbing systems to support the restrooms and drain pumping stations. Due to the reduced mechanical spaces and access to outdoors, detail coordination was required for installation. MDS provided full mechanical engineering services.
