Veteran's Memorial Building | Lafayette, CA

The Veterans Memorial 9,500 square foot building takes the form of a lodge with a dramatic granite and glass exterior and cathedral-like interior featuring grand, airy spaces with high beamed ceilings, ample maple wood trim, clear-story glass, and stained concrete decks. With three event halls, a kitchen and meeting rooms, the building has become a beloved gathering place for our veterans. At County's request, the mechanical systems are located in a dedicated attic mechanical room for weather protection and acoustical isolation. Mechanical Design Studio provided full mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and energy modeling design services.
