The Claremont Village Expansion Parking Structure opened in 2007. It provides public off-street parking to Claremont Village customers and Metrolink commuters. It features shops and restaurants along First Street. The unique project was named one of the best projects in North America. Mechanical systems include plumbing and fire protection infrastructure, core and shell HVAC systems for the retail areas, and special technical rooms. Detailed attention was given to the integration of the mechanical systems with the structure and coordination with the other consultants. MDS provided full mechanical and plumbing engineering services for the 468 stall structure.
